Mr. Albert Chong

 

With a wide range of progressive industry experience spanning more than three decades, Mr. Chong has worked on projects and mineral deposits located on five continents. He holds a Masters of Science degree in Exploration Geoscience from the University of Tasmania, and currently has a Professional Geologist designation. His experience includes exploration, development, mining, and consulting on base, precious, and rare-earth metal projects located in British Columbia, Ontario, Newfoundland, Nunavut, and Nevada.

 

Mr. Chong is currently the Senior Director of Geology with Wheaton Precious Metals, performing technical due diligence for precious metal streaming agreements worth more than US$7B. During his early career, he was a member of the Noranda Exploration team credited for discovering the Eagle River gold deposit near Wawa, Ontario.
